Could anything possibly be more fun than a dune buggy adventure? Well, yes of course when combined with flying through the jungle canopy on a zipline. This tour combines the dune buggy tour with eight adrenaline pumping ziplines
This adventure allows you to choose either a manual shift custom built dune buggy with seating for up to three passengers, or a fully automatic Side by Side seating up to five passengers. Upon departure you will be winding your way along the coast of the Bay of Banderas. Impressive ocean views will be on your right and jungle views on your left. One of the many landmarks you will pass on your way will be the Natural Marine Reserve Los Arcos. As you reach the quaint village of Mismaloya (film location of John Houston’s movie Night of the Iguana) you will exit the two-lane black top road onto a dirt path leading you to yet another movie location. This is the location where the movie The Predator starring Arnold Schwarzenegger was filmed.
This area is also an ecotourist nature park Edenva with multiple waterfalls. The best way to see this park is from above, which is exactly what you will be doing as you sail through the canopy on the eight exhilarating ziplines.
At the next stop you will learn about where tequila comes from, without which the margarita would merely be lime juice. Locally made tequila and flavored tequila’s will be available for you to taste while here. These unique flavors of tequila are available for purchase and are not available outside of Mexico.
The next stop is at a restaurant in the Village of Nogalito beside the Rio Nogalito far away from the sounds of the city. Listen to the sound of the birds singing and the water flowing over the rocks while enjoying this remote setting. At the restaurant you will be able to get local seafood as well as authentic Mexican food (food and drink not included). A fun ride back to Unique will conclude your Unique dune buggy adventure.
This adventure in Puerto Vallarta is the best way to get a taste of Mexican culture & capture the breathtaking views of Puerto Vallarta’s natural beauty. You will pass through quaint Mexican villages and local neighborhoods on the way through the jungle. Magnificent broad vistas become ever more spectacular as you wind your way up through the rugged Sierra Madre mountains.
The first stop on your tour up the mountain is at a jungle bar in a beautiful setting with crystal clear spring fed pools and a seasonal waterfall. You can just sip a nice refreshing margarita or take a swim, or both or, just enjoy the experience of being in the jungle.
From there you will venture back through the jungle to a plateau where you will enjoy breath taking views of the area and surrounding mountains. You will be able to see much of the local fauna and wildlife. It is not uncommon to see Macaw parrots flying across the blue sky. While here you will have the opportunity to learn about the process of making tequila. You can also sample locally made tequila as well as unique flavored tequila’s made in the traditional way that are not available for purchase outside of Mexico.
A short fun ride from there and you will arrive at Moro Paraiso sitting on the banks of the beautiful Rio Cuale. Here you will be able to eat lunch and enjoy some of the most authentic Mexican food in the area (food and drink not included). This restaurant with its remote location on the Rio Cuale is truly a favorite among the locals. Paraiso means paradise and as its name implies it truly is a paradise. A fun ride back to Unique will conclude your Unique Puerto Vallarta ATV adventure.
